Welcome to AlertHub, a multi-utility mobile application developed and maintained by Hitasoft Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. ("we," "our," or "us").

AlertHub provides users with smart reminders, local weather updates, live gold price information, and curated news feeds — all within a single, unified application experience.

This Privacy Policy describes how AlertHub collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use our application. By downloading or using AlertHub, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, please discontinue use of the application.

AlertHub collects the following categories of information to deliver its core features:

• Reminder content — titles, notes, dates, and times you create within the app.
• Approximate or precise location — used solely to fetch relevant local weather data.
• Device permissions — as listed in the Permissions section, only when granted by you.
• App usage preferences — settings and preferences stored locally on your device.

AlertHub does not collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number (unless you voluntarily contact us for support).
• Payment or financial information.
• Social media account data.
• Contacts, photos, files, or clipboard contents.

All reminder data — including reminder titles, notes, scheduled dates and times, and repeat configurations — is stored locally on your device only.

This data is never transmitted to our servers or shared with any third party. It is accessible only on the device on which it was created.

• Reminders are created, edited, and deleted entirely on-device.
• No cloud backup of reminder data is performed (unless a future update explicitly introduces this feature with your consent).
• Uninstalling the application will permanently delete all locally stored reminder data.

AlertHub requests access to your device's location only to display relevant local weather information. Location data is used exclusively in real-time to fetch weather data from our third-party weather API provider and is not retained after the request is fulfilled.

• Location access is requested at runtime; you may grant or deny this permission.
• If location access is denied, weather features may not function correctly, but all other app features remain fully available.
• Location data is transmitted only to the weather API service provider and is not stored by Hitasoft on any server.
• We do not track your location history or movement patterns.

You may revoke location permission at any time through your device's system settings (Settings → Apps → AlertHub → Permissions → Location).

AlertHub displays current weather conditions, temperature, humidity, wind speed, and related forecasts sourced from a third-party weather data provider.

• Weather data is fetched in real-time based on your current location or a manually entered city.
• Weather information is displayed for convenience and informational purposes only.
• AlertHub does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of weather data, as it is sourced from third-party APIs.

AlertHub displays indicative gold price information sourced from publicly available market data feeds and third-party APIs.

• Gold prices displayed are for informational and reference purposes only.
• Prices may be delayed and may not reflect real-time market rates.
• AlertHub is not a financial advisory platform. Gold price information should not be used as the basis for any investment, trading, or financial decision.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of gold price data.

AlertHub aggregates and displays news articles and headlines sourced from third-party news APIs and RSS feeds.

• All news content displayed is owned by and the responsibility of the respective original publishers.
• AlertHub does not author, edit, verify, or endorse any news content displayed within the application.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, objectivity, or completeness of any news articles or headlines.
• News content is provided for general informational purposes only.
• AlertHub is not responsible for any reliance placed on news content displayed within the application.

AlertHub uses device notifications to deliver scheduled reminder alerts at the times you specify.

• Notifications are triggered locally by your device's alarm and notification system; they do not require an internet connection.
• Notification content is generated from reminder data you have created, stored locally on your device.
• No notification data is transmitted to external servers.
• You may manage notification permissions through your device settings (Settings → Apps → AlertHub → Notifications).
• Disabling notifications will prevent reminder alerts from appearing, though your reminder data will remain intact.

AlertHub integrates with the following categories of third-party services to provide its features. Each service operates under its own Privacy Policy, which we encourage you to review:

• Weather API Provider — Used to fetch current weather conditions and forecasts. Your approximate location coordinates are sent to this service to retrieve relevant data.
• Gold Price API Provider — Used to fetch indicative commodity prices. No personal data is shared with this service.
• News API Provider — Used to aggregate and display news headlines and articles. No personal data is shared with this service.
• Google Play Services — Required for Android app distribution and operation. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

We are not responsible for the data practices of third-party service providers. We select service providers that meet reasonable data protection standards.

AlertHub requests the following Android permissions. Each permission is requested only for the stated functional purpose:

You may revoke any runtime permission (Location, Notifications) at any time via Device Settings → Apps → AlertHub → Permissions.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect any data processed by AlertHub from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

• All reminder data is stored locally in your device's private app storage, inaccessible to other applications.
• API calls to weather, gold price, and news providers are made over encrypted HTTPS connections.
• AlertHub does not operate any servers that store user personal data.
• No user accounts or user-specific profiles are created or maintained by AlertHub.

While we strive to implement appropriate security measures, no method of data transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

AlertHub is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age.

Since AlertHub does not require user registration or account creation, and does not knowingly solicit personal data, the risk of unintentional collection from minors is minimal. However, if you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us (e.g., through a support enquiry), please contact us at support@hitasoft.com and we will promptly address your concern.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our application features, applicable laws, or our data practices. When we make material changes, we will:

• Update the Effective Date at the top of this page.
• Where appropriate, notify users via an in-app notice or via the Google Play Store update notes.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of AlertHub after changes have been published constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
